Before it reaches you
How a rare aroid gets to your door
Shipping a living plant is the part most shops get wrong. Here is exactly what happens after you order.
-
01
Checked and photographed
Your plant is inspected the morning it ships — roots, growth point and leaves. If anything looks off it does not travel, and we email you rather than send a plant we would not accept ourselves.
-
02
Packed by hand
The root ball is kept moist, the pot is braced so the substrate cannot shift, leaves are supported with soft paper and taller specimens are staked inside the carton. A heat pack and insulated liner go in free whenever the forecast calls for it.

03
Tracked, and watched
Parcels leave on a tracked service with the box marked as live plants, and we avoid dispatching into a weekend in a depot. If the weather turns severe we hold the order and tell you why.
Then it is over to you: open the box within 24 hours, let the plant rest somewhere bright and out of direct sun, and wait a couple of weeks before repotting. Our 30-day guarantee runs from the day it lands.

A 30-day guarantee on every plant
If your plant arrives damaged, arrives as the wrong item, or fails to establish within 30 days despite reasonable care, send us photos and we will replace it or refund you in full. Replacements ship free, like everything else.
We would rather help you save a struggling plant than replace it — advice is free, and the same people who packed your box answer the emails.
